An off-the-wall comedy set in the world of the Bystanders - invisible immortals who watch over their human subjects and intervene in (or interfere with) their lives.

　　Carter meets Toni and impulsively marry him to find that they disagree on everything. They separate and seven years later on the eve before their divorce they meet again and spend the night together.

　　Eric and Quentin, hosts in a children's show, are at the peak of their television careers. On a night that is a little too crazy, they drink too much and do a little rubbish. Unfortunately, someone films their "exploits" and broadcasts the video over the Internet. It's bad buzz, the dreaded phenomenon for a public figure. Their producer gives them 48 hours to restore their image, otherwise they will be fired. The more the duo tries to get by, the more they accumulate blunders, as during the funeral of Quentin's grandmother.

　　Indecisive heiress Dee Dee Dillwood is pushed into marrying her sixth fiancée, but unable to face the wedding night, she flees into the adjacent hotel room of commercial pilot Marvin Payne, who just wants to sleep. Somehow, she persuades him to take her to California. Her fellow passengers include a chimpanzee, a corpse (in a coffin), an absconding embezzler, and two smoochy newlyweds. Can love be far behind?

流行樂壇大明星杜明漢（王力宏 飾）雖然功成名就，風頭無量，但是內心的空虛卻與日俱增，愛情之樹更遲遲未能開花結果。一次車禍，讓他邂逅了上海音樂學院民樂系的女孩宋曉青（劉亦菲 飾）。明漢為曉青超凡脫俗的氣質所吸引，更被她優美絕倫的琴聲所打動。在此之後，他和樂團夥伴兼好友魏志柏（陳漢典 飾）經過一番偽裝打扮，悄悄潛入音樂學院。在此期間，二人和宋曉青、陶麗（曾軼可 飾）組成四人樂團參加學校的演出，明漢還幫助曉青追求民樂系才子慕凡（喬振宇 飾），期間更是鬧出不少笑話。脫去繁華世界的虛偽裝扮，明漢重返青澀純真校園，收穫了人生最為難得的禮物……　　本片為王力宏自導自演的處女作。

成名於《週六夜現場》（Saturday Night Live）節目中的三人說唱組合“孤島”（The Lonely Island）即將開拍自己的電影，這部影片由賈德·阿帕羅（Judd Apatow）參與制片，環球公司負責發行。　　“孤島”組合由《週六夜現場》演員安迪·薩姆博格（Andy Samberg）、阿吉瓦·沙弗爾（Akiva Schaffer）、喬瑪·塔昆（Jorma Taccone）三人組成，以搞笑見長，他們出過三張錄音室專輯，代表作有“D*ck in a Box”等。　　據悉這部《孤島組合》的電影將由組合成員阿吉瓦·沙弗爾、喬瑪·塔昆聯合執導，講述的是發生在“音樂世界裡的事兒”。
